How Do I Access my Purchased Add-ons?
You can log into your user account and click your "Download Library".
There you will find your available downloads for purchased Payware content and attached Freeware content.
How Do I Install my Purchased Add-Ons?
Find your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024 Community folder, extract the download, and copy the “gotfriends-aircraft-name” folder into it.
If you are installing an update, delete the old version first. We recommend extracting to your Downloads folder to avoid file path issues.
For full aircraft details, see the included Flight Manual. Launch the simulator and enjoy.
Important: do not copy the outer folder, such as “MSFS-2024-AIRCRAFT-VERSION,” directly into your Community folder. You must open that folder first and copy the actual aircraft folder inside, such as “gotfriends-aircraft-name.” This is one of the most common installation mistakes.
How Many Times Can I Re-Download?
There is a download limit of 1000 downloads on all our content. However, if you exceed this limit, we will simply reset your account's download number.
Our backend system does not allow infinite downloads at this time. If you have reached your maximum limit, please send our support team a message above with your account information.
Can I Gift an Add-on to a Friend?
Gifting is available through Got Friends Gift Cards, which can be purchased for either yourself or sent directly to your friend.
If you send the gift card to yourself, you will receive an email with a redemption link. If preferred, you can also forward that email directly to your friend instead of sending it through our automated system. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder.
You or your friend can redeem the code during checkout and will need to create a Got Friends Account to complete a purchase.
Gift Cards do not expire. If you have any further questions, please contact our team above.
What If My Files Are Missing From My Account?
If your files are missing from your account, please contact our support team above and we will be happy to assist you.
What If I Did Not Receive My Download Email?
If you did not receive your download email, please log in to your Got Friends Account and review your contact information to make sure it is correct.
You may update your information at any time. Your files can also be accessed directly through your Download Library.

Can I Transfer My Purchase to Another Account?
Yes. Please contact our support team above and we will work with you to validate your purchase and the new account before completing the transfer.
Can I Transfer My Purchase from the Official In-Game Marketplace to My Got Friends Account?
These requests are currently handled through our partner, Contrail.
You can submit a request through their website and, if approved, your purchase will be transferred to your Contrail account.
You may then link your Contrail account to your Got Friends account to connect your download access.
Refund Policy
Can I Refund a Purchase?
Due to the nature of our products being digitally available, purchases of all products are non-refundable.

What If I Bought Two Copies?
We do make exceptions to the rule above. If the purchase was accidental, drop us an support message above, and we’ll sort it out for you!
What If a Purchase Was Made by Someone Under 18?
If a purchase was made by someone under 18, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
All digital product sales are generally final and non-refundable under our store policy.
That said, we understand that exceptional situations can happen, and concerns may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
To prevent issues, purchases should always be made with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian.
What If My Gift Card Was Sent to the Wrong Email?
Please contact our support team above. We can deactivate the original gift card and issue a new one to the correct email address.
What If I Dispute or Charge Back a Purchase?
If a purchase is disputed or charged back, we will work directly with the payment provider or banking institution and provide proof of purchase, account records, and our posted store policies.
Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension or permanent closure of the associated account.
We strongly recommend contacting our support team above before initiating a dispute so the issue can be reviewed properly first.
